OVerview
For those who want performance but prefer to keep the excitement a little more under the bonnet, the GT E is here to deliver. The GT E is a combination of luxury V8 and executive racer and is tailored for those who want the power and sound of a high performance vehicle without the overt styling.
Powered by the upgraded 5.4-litre Boss V8 engine, the GT E produces 315kW of power at 6,500rpm and 551Nm of torque at 4,750rpm.
The new GT E features 355 x 32mm cross-drilled and ventilated front rotors with Brembo 6-piston calipers and 330 x 28mm cross-drilled and ventilated rear rotors with Brembo 4-piston calipers as standard. The GT E also features the technologically advanced ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift, which tailors its performance to your individual driving style, while shifting you, effortlessly.
Completing the package is the GT E's luxury interior, featuring leather seats, dark walnut wood-grain finish on the dashboard and doors and a premium audio sound system. Safety is also at a premium with driver and front passenger airbags, curtain airbags plus front seat side thorax airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Beltminder technology Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and reverse sensing system (including a reverse parking camera) as standard.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Engine
Introducing the new GT E with a 32 valve, quad-cam Boss V8 engine comparable to Europe’s best. The awe-inspiring Boss 315 is a powerplant unlike any other and comes to life on Australia’s only current V8 engine production line.
Its 5.4-litre capacity, 32 valves and double overhead camshafts work to produce 315kW of power and a phenomenal 551Nm of torque.
The Boss 315 engine features a number of unique FPV engine upgrades and components including:
- New camshaft timing and a new profile that gives higher lift and extended duration
- Twin plate throttle body improves volumetric efficiency and reduces pressure loss through the induction system
- New upper intake manifold plenum chamber for optimized air flow
- A new high flow “straight-through” twin exhaust system and new stainless steel exhaust manifolds which maximize powertrain sound quality and minimize back pressure
- An increase in engine speed range from 6,000rpm to 6,500rpm
The Boss 315 engine also gives the GT E flexibility through the gears and consequently, drivers will notice that from a standing start, the vehicle feels lighter and more responsive. The new GT E also boasts a fuel economy figure of 14L/100km.
Transmission
The GT E features the ZF 6-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as standard. This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the driver the best of both worlds. Its Sequential Sports Shift system allows fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize all the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts. And when in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.
STYLING
The elegant and luxurious styling of the GT E differentiates the vehicle from its GT siblings. As opposed to the sporty GT, the GT E is more subtle with striking chrome accents and a refined lip spoiler. Full body coloured bumpers as well as the new GT E badge on the rear and side panels further compliment the executive styling of this vehicle.
The unique 19-inch wheel design was custom matched to the GT E's premium Brembo brake package and the Alpine Silver alloy finish completes an understated yet stylish exterior package.
Inside, the GT E features luxury FPV seats in Nudo leather with the GT E logo embossed on the head rests. Unique to the GT E, the interior environment is charcoal and receives a dark walnut wood-grain finish on the dashboard and doors.
The interior is packed with features to ensure a premium driving experience, including a sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, dual zone temperature control air-conditioning, memory adjustable pedals, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat with 3 position memory, premium audio system, Bluetooth® and I-pod® integration, and a reverse sensing system (including reverse parking camera) as standard.
