SPECIFICATIONS
OVerview
The F6 Ute is the new generation high performance workhorse. Powered by a 4.0 litre turbo-charged DOHC 24 valve in-line six, the F6 Ute produces a maximum power of 310kW at 5,500rpm and maximum torque of 565Nm across the range from 1,950 to 5,200rpm.
Matching the increased power is a premium FPV performance brake package, featuring 355x32mm front rotors with Brembo 4 piston calipers and 328x26mm rear rotors with single red piston caliper.
From the front the F6 Ute is powerful and imposing; distinguished by its dark headlight accents and titanium mesh grille. The new graphite headlight accents are matched to the 19 inch machine faced alloy wheels with Graphite accents, and an optional F6 Graphite wheel is available.
The grille on the lower air intake has been removed, making the mechanicals of the larger intercooler a visible and an integral part of the F6 Ute's tough exterior presence. The unique F6 310 badge is also positioned on the tailgate of the vehicle.
For the first time, the F6 Ute is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Other safety features include driver and front passenger airbags plus front seat side/head thorax airbags, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Beltminder technology.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Engine
With an awesome 310kW of power, FPV's new turbo-charged F6 Ute is one of the best performing six-cylinder utilities on the Australian market.
Powered by the high performance 4.0 litre turbo-charged DOHC 24 valve in-line six, the F6 Ute produces maximum power of 310kW at 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 565Nm across the range from 1950 to 5200 rpm.
To achieve the significant 40kW increase, the engine features re-designed inlet and exhaust systems, a strengthened piston and conrod assembly and totally re-calibrated engine to maximise response and driveability.
As a result, the F6 Ute delivers impressive power and torque figures, without compromising on driveability and fuel efficiency. This performance sports utility boasts fuel consumption figures of 12.8L/100km in manual transmission and 13L/100km in automatic guise.
Transmission
A new six-speed manual transmission has been introduced with the FG FPV range - the new Tremec TR6060.
The new synchroniser package features triple synchromesh on first and second gears, and double synchromesh on all other gears, including reverse, which has significantly reduced gear shift efforts and shift travel. The reduced shift travel provided by the synchroniser package has also allowed increased space for the use of larger gears, which are stronger to deliver improved torque capacity and gearbox durability.
The F6 Ute also features the ZF 6-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as a no cost option. This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the driver the best of both worlds. Its Sequential Sports Shift system allows fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize all the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts. And when in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.
STYLING

The F6 Ute features F6 logo embroidered sports seats in New Technique cloth with suede-feel bolsters and silver stitching. New Technique leather sports seats are an option.
The interior is packed with features to ensure a premium driving experience, including a sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, single zone temperature control air conditioning, 4-way power driver’s seat, Bluetooth® and I-pod® integration and prestige audio system as standard.
The F6 Ute receives a soft tonneau as standard, whilst the power bulge hard tonneau with spoiler is an option.
